The nation is at a critical crossroads, and we need to make our voices heard about the things that matter to us.

Our Mission

Red Shoe Votes is a campaign to mobilize Christian women (and men!) to shift the nation with their voices and their votes.

For too long, we as Christian women have allowed so many other voices to speak for us, including influential women who do not share or respect biblical values.

The nation is at a critical crossroads, and we need to make our voices heard about the things that matter to us. We want political candidates to know that we are a force to be reckoned with and that we will keep them accountable once they are in office to continue representing the interests we elected them to uphold.

As Christian women, we are strategically positioned to speak to a wide array of issues, from things that impact the family and home to broader matters of social justice that impact our communities, cities and states. We bring unique perspective into all major aspects of culture, including government, business, arts & entertainment, and education. We want to see these areas standing on the firm foundation of biblical truth.

Why red shoes?

Red shoes are a great way to represent power, independence, and fun all at once! Politics can seem dreary and dull, but not when you’re arm in arm with amazing women, making a difference in the nation.

Red shoes are bold, standing out from the crowd and communicating a certain confidence. We don’t have to be timid about using our voices and influence to impact the nation.

(Also, it’s an excuse to buy new shoes!)

If this campaign is aimed at women, how do men fit in?

In many ways, we believe women have been both underrepresented and underestimated as a voting demographic, but we also know that any real change can only be accomplished when we work together.

All Christians should vote! It’s part of our responsibility—men and women.

We are also asking Christian men to partner with us— to acknowledge and advocate for the issues that are important to us as women, to recognize where women have often been silenced or dismissed, and to affirm that we are stronger as the Church and as a nation when men and women are treated as equals.
